Jeff Diehl joined IFFIm’s Board of Directors on 1 September 2024.

Jeff Diehl joined IFFIm’s Board of Directors on 1 September 2024. Jeff is currently responsible for finance, operations and compliance at a non-profit financial institution whose mission is to directly invest and mobilize additional private sector capital to meet America’s growing demand for resilient infrastructure and reliable, affordable energy.

Jeff has over 45 years of experience in public, social impact and capital market finance. Previously, Jeff was CEO and Executive Director of Rhode Island Infrastructure Bank, a quasi-public corporation whose mission is to provide technical assistance and invest in key infrastructure including programs focused on water, transportation, clean energy, and resiliency. Prior to this role, he was the Managing Partner of Strategic Sovereign Advisors LLC, a consulting firm advising governments and financial institutions.  Previously, he held various senior positions at HSBC, a global financial institution, including Vice Chairman – US Public Sector and Global Head of Public Sector Banking and Capital Markets. He holds BA and MBA degrees from the University of Michigan.

She was a member of the Board of Directors of the International Capital Market Association ("ICMA") from July 2020 until August 2024 and an alternate member of the Board of Directors of the European Investment Fund from March 2018 to January 2022 . Ms Kreivi holds a Master of Science degree in Economics from the University of Åbo Akademi in Finland and is fluent in Finnish, English, French and Swedish. Ms Kreivi was appointed as a director effective 1 July 2024 and she is a member of the Audit Committee.
