Ingrid van Wees is a finance and investment professional with a long career in international development finance including serving as Vice President for Finance and Risk Management at the Asian Development Bank and Senior Director at KfW-DEG. She has worked across both the private sector and multilateral institutions, focusing on sustainable investments, financial innovation, and risk management. Ingrid is particularly interested in innovative ways to mobilise capital for global challenges.
She now serves as an Independent Non-Executive Director on the board of Africa Finance Corporation (AFC) and is an advisor on sustainable finance projects. She enjoys contributing her experience in finance and governance to organisations working to deliver long-term development impact.
