Eila Kreivi joined the IFFIm Board of Directors on 1 July.
Ms Kreivi brings extensive experience in capital markets and sustainable finance, as the former Director, Head of Capital Markets and Chief Sustainable Finance Advisor at the European Investment Bank ("EIB"). She stepped down from active EIB service in February 2024 and now serves as an independent capital markets and sustainable finance expert and advisor.
In March 2024, she joined the Board of Directors of Finnvera, a state-owned special financing company in Finland and she is the Chair of the Risk Committee. In 2011-2022, she headed the Capital Markets Department at the EIB and acted as the EIB's representative in several expert advisory groups of the European Commission on sustainable finance.
