Norway
Norway, an IFFIm founding donor, has committed a total of US$ 1.068 billion, pledged over 25 years. Norway joined IFFIm in 2006 with an initial pledge of US$ 27 million over 15 years and NOK 1.5 billion over 11 years. The country committed NOK 600 million in May 2020, and NOK 2 billion in June 2020 to support the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI) through Gavi for the development of vaccines against deadly diseases including COVID-19 vaccine candidates.
Also in 2020, Norway committed NOK 4 billion over nine years. And in 2021, Norway pledged an additional NOK 1 billion to IFFIm for the COVAX AMC.
